Blake M. Trueblood joined the Trueblood Law Group in May of 2005. Mr. Trueblood earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Florida State University. Mr. Trueblood earned his law degree from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where he was a recipient of the G.A. Jr. & Kathryn M. Buder Charitable Foundation Scholars in Law Award. Mr. Trueblood has also earned a Masters in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
During his time at the Washington University School of Law, Mr. Trueblood participated in the University’s prestigious Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic where he fought to revise water quality standards in the State of Missouri. Prior to law school, Mr. Trueblood participated in the American Indian Law Center’s Pre Law Summer Institute where he was honored with the program’s Advocacy Award. Mr. Trueblood is an enrolled tribal member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Mr. Trueblood also has significant experience in several forms of civil litigation, including premises liability, personal injury and commercial disputes. Mr. Trueblood also concentrates his practice on economic development and Indian law. Mr. Trueblood is member of the American Bar Association and the Florida Bar. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the Federal District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
